Hello hello, welcome to my portfolio! Make yourself at home and explore the insides of my brain for a bit. If you don’t have a lot of time, just pop on over to the motion design area, that’s where I keep my most treasured works.

If you do have the time I’d love to tell you a little about myself: As I’m sure you’ve noticed by now, my name is Simon Edl and I’m a designer currently studying at the University of Applied Sciences JOANNEUM.

But what kind of a designer? While I in no way want to limit myself to any specific discipline, but I have noticed myself falling in love with all things media design recently, whether that be film, animation or motion design.

This field has empowered me to learn how to operate photo and film cameras as well as a variety of software for photo and video editing as well as 2D and 3D motion design. During my internship at Ingenuity Studios in Hollywood in early 2022 I got to learn even more exciting things such as real-time 3D engines and advanced 2D animation.
